Sunburn, dark spots, and early fine lines—UV exposure can affect your skin in more ways than you might notice.

Alongside your favourite serum and cream, sun protection is an essential foundation of everyday skincare. Whether you’re heading to work, picking up lunch, or meeting friends for coffee in Cambodia, a little sun care matters.

SPF 50: Mainly UVB protection

UVB rays are the main cause of sunburn. SPF indicates the level of protection against burning. It isn’t a timer: SPF 50 does not mean 50 hours of protection!

PA++++: UVA protection

UVA contributes to premature skin ageing and skin darkening. More ‘+’ signs mean a higher UVA protection grade. PA++++ is the highest grade in the current PA system.

Remember to reapply

No sunscreen blocks all UV rays. When outdoors, reapply at least every two hours, and more frequently after swimming or sweating. Follow your product’s directions, and add a hat, umbrella, or shade for extra protection.

SILKY Daily Defence Moisturizing Sunscreen is labelled SPF 50 PA++++—two useful details to understand when choosing your sunscreen.

A little protection every day. A little love for yourself.
